While Alicia’s professional work is in design, music has been a constant passion—from competitive student performances to adult ensembles. Alicia is actively seeking opportunities to collaborate, perform, and teach in the Greenwood area and beyond.

Clarinet

Self-taught since 8th grade at Pillow Academy, Alicia has pursued clarinet with distinction in both student and adult settings:

As a Student:

  • 1st Chair at MAIS Band Clinic (competitive selection)

  • MAIS All-Star Band

  • Marching/Concert Band at Mississippi Delta Community College

  • All-State Band participant during her time at Mississippi Delta CC

As an Adult:

  • Mississippi Baptist Symphony Orchestra (current volunteer ensemble)

  • Greenwood Little Theatre pit orchestras (The Wizard of Oz 2025, Annie 2019)

  • Greenwood Community Concert Band (under Russell Baxter, disbanded)

  • Matinee Musicale (Mississippi Federation of Music Clubs affiliate, disbanded)

Voice

A lifelong singer with diverse experience, Alicia is a mezzo-soprano vocalist (comfortable with alto or 2nd soprano parts). Her previous experience includes:

Alicia is passionate about keeping musical opportunities alive for children and adults. She is open to:

  • Ensembles needing clarinet or voice

  • Pit orchestra or theater collaborations

  • Directing a Children’s Choir
